Very rare 1995 limited edition sterling silver “Dragon” made by Montegrappa Italy. A stunning creation for pen collectors. The impressive fountain pen is made of solid sterling silver cast over dark grey and marbleised celluloid. A fantastic vivid dragon wraps around the cap and another wraps around the barrel. Genuine rubies set for the eyes of the fiery dragons. The “Dragon” creation was to commemorate Montegrappha’s 1912 establishment. This pen was made in 1995 and it is limited edition #1290/1912. The limited edition number is hand printed and personally signed on the Certificate of Authenticity. The number is also on a metal plate on the end of the barrel. The exquisite heavy lacquer and wood presentation box is inlaid with a high relief sterling silver dragon medallion on the lid. Original booklet, information folder and original certificate of authenticity, stunning red original outer box. The pen has never been used or inked. It has been inside the box for over 20 years.
