MONTBLANC 1 COMPRESSOR Simplo Crisp Imprints 1920s M Nib Fountain Pen ULTRA RARE
For sale is the pen which desire every vintage Montblanc collector but only a few have opportunity to own one. Montblanc 1 Compressor with Crisp All Imprints. The rarest kind of Montblanc filling system. Compressor is the special filling system which Montblanc created in 1920’s to introduce something special and outstanding to theirs’s pens offer, while the market was dominated by lever fillers. This system is sometimes called Pneumatic. Compressor/Pneumatic Montblanc were not produced in big amounts like other Montblanc filling systems. Compressor production was fairly limited. Compressor/Pneumatic was produced in two filling system designs. One part knob with the hole at the end 2. With blind cap at the end which needed to be unscrewed to filling process. The offered one is with blind cap on the end. This kind of two-part knob is much, much more harder to find than the first one. Many Compressor/Pneumatic Montblanc carry mostly the common imprints like “Montblanc” on the cap and “Simplo Original Montblanc” on the barrel. Imprints “Compressor” on the cap and barrel are fairly very unique. Montblanc Compressor pieces are extremely valuable and rare. Many collectors look for this pens most of theirs’s life. This one is the most valuable version by carrying “Compressor” imprints on the cap and barrel, and having two-part knob. Ultra Rarity and h. Ighly valuable investment to collection.
