Professionally restored by Rick Horne. No cracks or scratches that I can find, just the normal light scuffs of use. Both the section and the lever end piece screw off smoothly and also screw on securely for a solid feel and no leaks. The nib is flexible but not a wet noodle. The lat photo shows what I feel is the safe extent of the flex, I get about 1/2 to 3/4 of spread in the normal course of writing. As for the feel, it’s smooth with feedback, not scratchy but not like glass. The DeLuxe version of the Ray Ink-vue is a bit larger that the Standard model measuring a bit over 5.25 capped. The pen is Unused but a Vintage NEW from OLD Stock, The pen is in good condition, and there are no big visible scratches. However, despite the age, it is still such a beautiful piece. The whole pen is made out of ebonite body construction and the pen filler mechanism has been cleaned, it functions perfectly. The nib has been tested to assess any scratchiness.
