RARE NR MINT Condition 1940´s MONTBLANC 65 (Victory) Flexy No 4 Size M Nib. Been disassembled, ultra sonic cleaned, new ink sac installed and polished. Excellent NR MINT condition. The MB 65 was actually a result out of the post war production and placed as an order by the British occupiers as part of the reparation payments, due to WWII! They placed an order of 10.000 pieces and the model was first called “Victory” as can be seen also on picture 8, which was an article by Stefan Wallrafen, which he wrote in January 2003 for a German pen magazine. Picture 8 till 10 show the full article which Stefan Wallrafen kindly provided to me for this advertisement. Barrel has no deep scratches. Cap has no deep scratches. Original engraving in cap. Nib size number 4. Nib type M with medium flex. Writes M through B to almost BBB, see sample. Totel length 13.2 cm, when cap closed and 15.3 cm posted cap. This a fabulous Mark I Parker Victory in a rare gold, burgundy and black lined pattern. This beautiful button fill fountain pen was made in Newhaven by Parker from their newly acquired factory which had previously belonged to the Valentine pen company. This beautiful fountain pen is in superb condition with only micro scratches in extreme close up. The 14k Newhaven nib lays down a smooth, soft, Medium line. The markings on the body of the pen are very faded but are legible when turned to the light. For an 80 year old pen it is amazing! Please be sure to look at all the images to enable you to decide on condition for yourself. Please Note: This pen is a lovely, working example of a vintage pen. This pen may have micro scratches, dings or knocks but will write beautifully. Regard any slight imperfections as the battle scars of the Victor.
