It is possible that even new pens might have been dipped in ink before they were sent to me. Whenever I saw some ink, I rinsed them to make sure no ink remained. One of these pens becomes available for sale with about the same frequency as a rare comet, maybe once in a decade. Even when one becomes available, it is usually quite beat up.
