It’s a 2013 Cross Snake Rollerball pen, essentially a liquid ink pen. Unlike a fountain pen, you replace the refill, so there’s no trouble with nib wear and it’s easy to use. Cross, unlike Montblanc, Dunhill, or Parker, consistently releases special edition pens, which contributes to their popularity. Since this pen has been out for a while, I’ll include a spare refill.
