1 Safety Filler fountain pen from the early 1920s with it original montblanc nib size 1, This is a premium “Top Line” model featuring the rare octagonal (faceted) barrel and cap design rather than the standard round version. The Nib (Matching Component). Size & Hallmark: Features an original 14K Gold No. Engravings: The nib is clearly hallmarked with the arched “MONTBLANC” name, the number “1” inside the early logo frame, and the “14C” gold purity stamp. Design: Includes the classic heart-shaped breather hole and intact iridium tipping. The Body & Mechanism. The end of the turning knob is crisply stamped with. Indicating a size 1 Mini, This perfectly matches the No. Material: Crafted from Black Hard Rubber (BHR) with a deep, dark finish and minimal oxidation. Markings: The side of the cap features a visible “MONTBLANC” imprint. The top of the cap retains the early white circular Montblanc emblem. (Note : the cap for this pen is shorter than it’s original size, don’t know why). Mechanism: This is a retractable Safety Filler. The turning knob operates to extend and retract the nib smoothly. Up for sale is a Vintage RARE S. Dupont Dark Blue Chinese Lacquer Fountain Pen with an 18kt Gold Nib that comes with the Original Box. The pen is in excellent pre-owned condition with no major flaws and less than average wear (mostly seen on the bottom of the pen – see 10th pic). The box is in great shape on the outside but the inside is missing the bottom piece that the pen lays on. The pen was used with Dupont Night Blue ink cartridges.
