Rare PILOT Capless Fountain Pen Hexahedra Model 14K Fine NOS. Unused dead stock only. Tag and cartridge cover are included. The barrel has some scuffs and scratches from storage, but there are no defects that would interfere with the writing process. The polyhedron (hexahedron) model is known as a masterpiece design in the history of Pilot fountain pens. It was used by Marc Newson’s father and later became the inspiration for the Hermes Nautilus. The nib is engraved with 791, so it seems to have been manufactured in July 1991. The difficulty of obtaining this watch is relatively high, especially if it is in unused condition with tags, as it is a 35-year-old model, and I think it is common knowledge among collectors that it is quite difficult to obtain. Some may feel that this price is a good value. The unit is interchangeable with the current one. A used CON-50 converter can be attached for +2,000 yen. Dual-use cartridge and converter type. PILOT Fountain Pen Myu Rex Red Ladies F Nib H1278 Vintage. Myu rex is a rare type of pen nib with the tip of the barrel directly formed into the nib, which is highly valued for its space-like design reminiscent of the near future. It takes a high level of technology to process a part of the shaft as a pen nib. The high technology of Pilot that makes it possible is something to be proud of in the world. This product can be identified from the engraving on the barrel as a model manufactured at the Hiratsuka factory in December 1978. This Ladies line in particular is extremely valuable because of the small number of pieces produced. As a collector, this is a USED item that has been stored at home for a long time.
