The polyhedron (hexahedron) model is known as a masterpiece design in the history of Pilot fountain pens. It was used by Marc Newson’s father and later became the inspiration for the Hermes Nautilus. The nib is engraved with 791, so it seems to have been manufactured in July 1991. The difficulty of obtaining this watch is relatively high, especially if it is in unused condition with tags, as it is a 35-year-old model, and I think it is common knowledge among collectors that it is quite difficult to obtain. Some may feel that this price is a good value. The unit is interchangeable with the current one. A used CON-50 converter can be attached for +2,000 yen. Dual-use cartridge and converter type.
