The pen was originally released in 2011 as a Speical Edition (SE) as a tribute to the famous Pelikan vintage pen 101N series in 1930s. Unlike the M400 and M600 series, this pen can be taken apart (the turning knob) without any tools, you can maintain the piston with your bare hands. The pattern is a replicate of the vintage celluloid 1930s material, and the cap, section, turning knob are all brown, replicating all the details of the vintage 1930’s pen.
