Since 1919, the small workshop of Ancora in northern Italy has been producing exclusive fountain pens with a distinctive dagger-like nib. The blue celluloid used on this pen has deep chatoyancy. The cap band, clip and other trim are all in baroque vermeil (gold plated over sterling silver). But, the piece de resistance on this fountain pen is the barrel. Itself which is covered with a sheet of multicolored marble from the quarries outside Florence. Owning this pen is owning a piece of Renaissance history. This pen was only made in a limited edition of 88 pens of which this is # 79. The certificate, folder and booklet/guarantee are included. Feel free to make a reasonable offer. However, you will not find this pen cheaper anywhere. My price will not be beat.
