Up for sale is vintage fountain. I remember it is end of 1970-early 1980’s, discontinued model. Last photo is the publicity of that date, this is NOT included of course. Some wear, scraches, but in any way still works. I often use it for writing a lot. May be you know, this is first model of 3776, actually made with name “gathered “, reproduction of original MR. It is made, cooperated with heavy user writer : collector of vintage fountain pen. He writes heavy quantity, and h know what should be fountain pen is, so would like to try in one day his ideal fountain pen. Fortunately his dreams comes true with platinum company, with lots of aide of authentic heavy writer/ users opinions. So this is one, near original or base model of platinum #3776. For collector or for heavy writer, may be interesting one. In any way, later 3776 must have succeeded this model, and continue better one in these days. Size, length, balance etc are well inspected for making 3776. Just please note it is opinions of Japanese writers, length, balance, no slip with sweats, and big nib is necessary for heavy writers in Japan. This it may be not the same for foreigners writers as they have hands larger than us Japanese. This one is used one, and relatively good condition for use. I often write a lot, this pen helps me a lot and I know well it’s interesting, no slip and great size, balance for writer people. Umeda wrote about his collection of fountain pens of all over the world, heavy writer, his experiences for writing is much longer and heavier than platinum company craftsmen, thus their cooperation is interesting and made a foundation of platinum 3776 base. In the book, He wrote about his dream for making ideal fountain pen one day and possibility with his experience of writing. His book is really interesting, but only in Japanese, no translated. No space to introduce here. Platinum continue making new 3776 height of mt Fuji, as no. 1 in Japan, like Mont Blanc in France. Philosophy of 3776 is all included the basic idea of this fountain pen. Please note this is used and old model, material may not the same as recent 3776. But 3776 is started with a heavy writer with platinum company, it must be interesting!

It’s sad, but as the times have changed and I now only use PCs, my opportunities to use analog writing instruments have drastically decreased, so I’m gradually putting my collection up for sale. This is an overseas-spec Pilot Capless fountain pen. It is notable that the nib is black instead of silver. The nib has been cleaned, but there may be some blue ink remaining. There are no particularly noticeable scratches, but as this is a used item, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about small details. There are no accessories such as a box. MONTEGRAPPA PELE P-10 LIMITED EDITION FOUNTAIN PEN FINE 18K GOLD NIB. New Old Stock (NOS). This item has never been used and was made some time ago but has remained in storage and is in brand-new condition. Some were previously display items. Due to long-term storage, NOS items may show signs of aging, or patina, or barely visible surface micro-scratches, but they are essentially new and unused. The item will arrive as shown in the pictures and may require some cleaning upon receipt. Please refer to the provided pictures for further details and to assess the item’s condition for yourself. The silver on this item would benefit from a good cleaning/polishing as you can see from the photos, especially the pen clip. The inner/display box shows signs of aging, with the original materials starting to crumble, as seen in the photos provided. Two distinct designs have been created for the Pelé Icons Pen Limited Edition, the Heritage and the P10. The Heritage solid silver trim edition consists of 1283 fountain pens and 1283 rollerballs representing the number of goals scored in his entire career. The Heritage gold edition is limited to 10 fountain pens and 10 roller balls, signifying his jersey number. The P-10 with silver trim includes 1,940 of each type: fountain pens, rollerballs, and ballpoints, commemorating the birth year of Pelé. The P-10 edition also includes an exclusive version consisting of 10 fountain pens, 10 ballpoint pens and 10 rollerballs with solid 18K gold trim. 2014 is the year in which Brazil hosted the FIFA World CupTM. Montegrappa created this pen series to celebrate the Brazilian footballer who changed the game for all-time: Pelé. Made of black resin, the P10 Edition features silver trims, with the top inspired by the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, the colors of Brazil filled in with enamel. The P10’s clip is a sceptre, to represent The King of Football’, with a miniature football containing a sapphire at its top. The legend,’The King of Football is engraved around cap, with Pelé’s signature on the side of the cap in white. The nib features an engraving of Pelé’s’bicycle kick’. Blue, green and yellow bands surround the blind cap. Series numbering is engraved on the end of the barrel. On 23 October 1940, Pelé was born in Três Corações, Minas Gerais, Brazil, the son of Fluminense footballer’Dondinho’ (born João Ramos do Nascimento) and Dona Celeste Arantes. He did not receive the nickname Pelé’ until his school days, when it is claimed he was given it because of his pronunciation of the name of his favorite player, local Vasco da Gama goalkeeper Bilé. Pelé grew up in modest conditions in Bauru, São Paulo. Taught to play by his father, he could not afford a proper football and usually played with either a sock stuffed with newspaper, tied with a string or a grapefruit. Pelé played for several amateur teams in his youth, leading and led the Bauru Athletic Club juniors to three consecutive São Paulo state youth championships between 1954 and 1956. Pelé began playing for Santos at 15. Ten months after signing professionally, the teenager was called up to the Brazil national team, at just 16. His first international match was a 2-1 victory against Argentina on 7 July 1957 at the Maracanã. In that match, he scored his first goal for Brazil, aged only 16 years and 9 months. Pelé won three FIFA World CupsTM, 1958, 1962 and 1970, the only player ever to do so, and is the all-time leading goal scorer for Brazil. On 19 June 1958 Pelé became the youngest player to play in a World CupTM final match at 17 years and 249 days. He scored two goals in the final as Brazil beat Sweden 5-2. His first goal, a lob over a defender followed by a precise volley shot, was selected as one of the best goals in the history of the World CupTM, it was in the 1958 World CupTM that Pelé began wearing a jersey with number 10 that immortalized him. He is also the all-time top scorer for Santos and led them to the 1962 and 1963 Copa Libertadores. After the World CupTM in 1962, wealthy European clubs such as Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United tried to sign the young player, but the government of Brazil declared Pelé an’official national treasure’ to prevent him from being of transferred out the country. Pelé’s electrifying play and penchant for spectacular goals made him a star around the world where he toured several times with his team Santos. In 1967, the two factions involved in the Nigerian Civil War agreed to a 48-hour ceasefire so they could watch Pelé play an exhibition game in Lagos In 1974. After his final career match on October 1, 1977 in front of more than 75,000 fans, Pelé shouted, Love! And urged his audience to pay attention to the youth of the world. Pelé will never forget where he came from and has a never-ending desire to give back. Many experts, fútbol critics, former players, current players and football fans regard Pelé as the best player of all time in general. In 2014, he received the FIFA Ballon d’Or Prix d’Honneur in recognition of his career and achievements. Named one of the “Top 20 Most Important People of the 20th Century” (Time Magazine) and “Football Player of the Century” (FIFA). Pelé today maintains his commitment to the sport and to society by fulfilling various roles as spokesperson, ambassador and philanthropist. Opened Box with All Original Components.
