MONTBLANC 344 BURGANDY FOUNTAIN PEN – RARE UNUSED MED 14kt 585 NIB Circa: 1950s. Hello everyone, if you’re shopping for a MB 344, then no need to look further! In one of those boxes was this very nice Montblanc 344, unused without a nib. On August 8, 2025 I was fortunate to have found a nib for the pen, making it whole. A rare find from this era. The pen is in excellent condition, there is some minor, almost undetectable microscratches from rattling around in the box, but the rest is pristine. I have upload the photos (see the last 3) to authenticate how this pen arrived to my home so that you are fully aware of its journey. Once the nib arrived, I assembled the pen, polished the exterior and applied some silicone grease to the piston and threads to assemble and make ready for your use. Type Vintage piston filler fountain pen. Product Name 344 (it’s imprinted on the cap band). This pen is considered a Montblanc oversize by comparison to others of that era. Filling System Piston filler, water tested and working well. The fill window is clear, except for some silicon grease/water from testing. Color Burgundy with gold plated trim. Nib Medium (M) FLEXIBLE, marked “M” on the piston knob. Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents or dings. This is a beautiful burgandy shiny pen in a classic design pattern. The cap and barrel show no wear. The cap band is intact with some microscratches, no bracing detected. The clip and clip band have some minor microscratches/brassing and plating wear. The Montblanc emblem on top of the cap looks good. All imprints, including the Montblanc imprint on the cap, are clear. If you need more photos or information, please reach out. Thank you for visiting my site – I hope to see you again.
Thanks for taking a look at this most recent listing from our personal collection that we are redistributing. This listing is the Parker Pen Premier Series 23K Gold Plated Grain d’Orge (Grain of Gold Design) Ball Pen. It is NOS that has not been used. By that time the price of the pen had been raised over time and the labels were discarded and the latest retails were applied to the product. So, while the box is original, some of the labels are missing. The pen is pristine and quite rare in this condition. The Parker Premier Collection was launched worldwide in 1983. Each Premier is hand-crafted and encased with a finish made from some of the world’s most precious materials. The collection at one point consisted of18K Gold (Godron Pattern), Chinese Laque, Sterling Silver Cisele Pattern – in the famous cross-hatch design, Grain d’Orge in Gold and Silver, a 22K Gold Electroplate and Laque, and an entry price point Classic Black GT. The Ball Pens featured a twist mechanism in addition to their incredible beauty. They were produced in Meru, France with the strictest of quality craftsmanship. Parker’s Marketing Department used this description for the Premier Series. A collection of exquisite writing instruments that derive its value from faultless materials and quality craftsmanship. Each writing instrument is accented by an exquisitely detailed band with diamond cut faucets that give the Premier a distinctive, gem-like brilliance. The Sterling Silver, Chinese Laque and Gold and Laque models contributed most of the Premier Series sales and so this is indeed a rare piece. This NOS pen has been in the box for 40 years. Please continue to follow us as we redistribute our collection of writing instruments.
