DELTA TUTANKHAMON LIMITED EDITION DK37300 BALLPOINT PEN. New Old Stock (NOS). This item has never been used and was made some time ago but has remained in storage and is in brand-new condition. Due to long-term storage, NOS items may show signs of aging, or patina, or barely visible surface micro-scratches, but they are essentially new and unused. The item will arrive as shown in the pictures and may require some cleaning upon receipt. Please refer to the provided pictures for further details and to assess the item’s condition for yourself. The original ink refill shows signs of corrosion only at the ballpoint. The pen still retains the original tip protector on the point, ensuring its pristine condition. This will need to be cleaned. Also, the metal components on the pen exhibit some signs of patina, a natural process that occurs as the metal ages, adding character to the pen. The outer box has some minor wear and a scratch. Despite these signs of aging, the pen remains a standout piece, combining aesthetic beauty with exceptional craftsmanship. Delta pays tribute to the sovereign Tutankhamun, known as the “boy pharaoh, ” who reigned during Egypt’s Eighteenth Dynasty, with a special limited collection pen. These writing instruments feature a medal depicting the Egyptian pound, the currency of the Arab Republic of Egypt, adorned with the famous solid gold death mask of the Pharaoh. The body of each pen is crafted from a special resin. Is turned by hand from solid bars of special resin. Showcasing the different shades of brown typical of Egypt’s sandy deserts. The clip is a faithful reproduction of the stylized beard of Tutankhamun, a symbol by which the pharaohs were identified with Osiris, the god of the Underworld. In ancient Egypt, wearing a fake beard with the tip pointing upward symbolized divinity. The central ring replicates a typical Egyptian ornamental pattern, and all other parts are plated in precious 24-carat gold. The blue and red rings are reminiscent of the colored glazes that enrich the golden mask, now preserved in the Cairo Museum. Opened Box with All Original Components. This pen comes in its original box, which has been opened to verify contents but remains complete with all original parts and accessories. All original booklets (see photos). Rare Marlen Città Antiche (Ancient Cities) Paestum ballpoint pen – new & unused! Part of the “Old Cities” special edition pens that were created to celebrate ancient Italian cities. This pen was part of the first series that was dedicated to the ancient cities of Campania: Caserta – Herculaneum – Paestum – Pompeii. The Paestum collection is characterized by a specially designed silver clip that replicates the splendor of the ancient marble columns. The cap and the barrel of these writing instruments are handmade from a solid bar of brown/amber-like Italian resin. The large ring on the barrel reproduces the Temple of Neptune. The ring on the cap shows the (presumed) foundation dates of this city. On the top of the cap is a lava stone. If I’m not mistaken, I believe the trim is sterling silver. It’s not the refill that came with the pen; the first thing I do when I get a new ballpoint pen is replace whatever refill is in it with a Uni SXR-600 Jetstream black XF (0.38mm) ballpoint refill made by The Mitsubishi Pencil Co, and I have NO idea what refill was in this pen originally, so I’ll install a Uni SXR-600 Jetstream black FINE point (0.5mm) in it.
