The early versions feature a ski-slope flat feed and no engravings on the gold cap ring, but on the cap side, while the later pens had the round feed and engraved cap rings. Also, the early versions had a yellowish/ ivory- colored snowflake, while the later ones were pure white. The barrel ink window is white, which they later changed to blue.
