The economy models had a blue visible ink part with threads for the screw-on cap which carried one cap band. And on the normal models the nib was semi hooded, made of gold for the models 32 and 34, and a steel nib for the model 31. The name Montblanc and the respective model number were always engraved on the cap band fitted on to the cap lip. The nib is made in 14 C gold and in this open section typical for the special nib size. This D nib is very hard and zero flexible and will be in F size.
