This is a Nakatani Briar fountain pen, which is no longer in production. The beautiful dark briar barrel is impressive, and there are no two pens with the same grain, and you can feel the comfortable texture and warmth that only wood can provide. The 14K nib is a medium-soft (SM) nib from the Nakatani era, which is no longer in production. It is well-balanced, has just the right amount of elasticity, and is comfortable to write with. Medium-soft nibs are very popular and have a good reputation. It has a snap-on cap, so it is easy to remove and attach the cap, which is a nice feature. Since it is a used item, there are some signs of use, such as very thin scratches on the plating when wiped with a cloth, and scratches on the nib of the neck when removing and attaching the cap.
