For sale is a Limited Edition Pelikan M620 Berlin fountain pen with Fine 18k gold nib. This pen is from 2001 and was one of two models issued for the first year of the City series. The Berlin’s design consists of a marbled / granite green pattern on the barrel and cap with the piston knob and section done in black resin. Gold-plated furniture rounds out the pen’s look. The material of the barrel and cap is translucent which allows for visualizing the remaining ink in the pen. The pen has been recently cleaned and dip tested and is in beautiful condition overall. It comes with the original packaging and booklet. It has been stored out of direct sunlight in a smoke free home. About the Pelikan M620 City Series. The M620 special edition models were produced from 2001 through 2006. Two pens per year were released, all now long since discontinued. It is unclear just how many of each model were made. The purpose of the series was to honor different cities and, towards the end of the run, places from around the world. The M620 pens have the standard trappings of a Souverän including a crown cap top, double trim rings at the piston knob, a trim ring at the section, and double cap bands engraved Pelikan Souverän Germany.
