Up for sale is vintage PELIKAN P1S (SILVEXA – steel cap) fountain pen. This is PELIAKNs try to join (a bit late) to hooded nibs trend: PARKER 51, AURORA 88, LAMY 27 etc. A real piece of innovative design after the “standard” 120,140, 400… The steel cap is topped with pointed (domed) with compatible burgundy color jewel, while another jewel is under the piston knob. On cap inscribed: PELIKAN P1 SILVEXA GERMANY. There are 4 clean green clear round windows to show ink capacity. You are invited to take a look at my other items here. Some are rare and highly collectable. I have listed few more PELIKAN P1 fountain pens in different colors. This is really a very rare pen because it’s burgundy color. The pen is very well preserved. It can fit as a valuable. Addition and would grace any collection, and is a quality pen that will perfectly function. As a daily writer. His pen benefits from being fully serviced and cleaned. It was disassembled, fully inspected, cleaned, tested and ready for enjoyable use with your favorite ink, for many more years. Parts/repair, poor, good, very good. No major issues or imperfections. Hairline unnoticeable slight scratches. The pen has all its original parts. It has the original imprint in very good readable condition. The cap markings are easy to read. They were not polished or cleaned to keep clear crisp imprint manufacturers original engravings. Photos are part of the sale, and are exactly what will be delivered, nothing similar or anything else from the real item in photos. Rare Goldfink Berlin fountain pen. The quality of craftsmanship of this pen is very high and matches other higher end pens of the day. The hooded nib itself is 14k gold and features very nice amount of flex. The piston knob cap says it is M-Medium, in my opinion it writes similar to an Oblique nib. The pen is in mint condition, as you can see on the pictures. I’d even classify it as New old stock/ Unused condition, as there were absolutely no ink traces when I got it. There are no cracks, or personal engravings. The piston has been lubricated and operates perfectly. The pen is guaranteed authentic.
