Osmia 66 fountain pen in lovely condition, pre-war before the Faber- Castell merger. A very interesting and rare pen, I have never seen anything similar. The only marking that this pen is Osmia is the clip itself. Where the osmia name would be stamped on the celluloid barrel, there is neue post. To the right of it is the model designation and nib size. This pen was made around the time that Degussa acquired Osmia’s nib making factory, and the nib itself is marked Degussa. I couldn’t dig any information about the meaning of “neue post, ” although it does sound like a newspaper, and couldn’t find any pens similar to this. No other pens are included in the sale, except the black Osmia 66. The pen is very big in size and is the biggest Osmia had to offer. Their size was shown as the last digit of the model number and ranged from 1-6. This pen is around 13cm long and 1.5 cm thick around the cap. The nib is crafted from gold plated stainless steel and is an M- Medium. The nib has a very good amount of flex and a very decent line variation. The pen is in near mint to mint condition, as you can see on the pictures. There are no cracks anywhere on the pen. The nib writes well and the pen has received a full service, which included full disassembly, thorough cleaning and lubrication of moving parts with silicone. I have provided a writing sample using Pelikan 4001 blue tint, in order to further describe the writing characteristics of the nib. The pen is guaranteed authentic.

This is a very Rare and Beautiful One of a Kind Bexley Imperial Prototype Fountain Pen in Galactic Blue with 18K Gold Plated Trim and Broad nib. The Acryloid Barrel and Cap are composed of a combination of Blues, Purple, Pink and Silver pearl. The only thing I could think of calling it is Galactic Blue. Here is a less common Sheaffer oversized balance fountain pen, with rare 3 tined music nib. Music nibs are rare, especially pre-snorkel nibs, in a large size. This one is semiflexible, with decent tine separation under light to moderate pressure. This pen is in good condition and is free of any cracks, dings, or plating wear. There are light tooth marks on the barrel of the pen. The nib is free of any cracks and the tines are aligned; however the two tone rhodium plating is worn. The pen has been disassembled and fitted with a new sac. The nib tines are aligned correctly. It is restored and ready to write.
