Faber Castell Osmia 882 fountain pen in lovely condition. The STRIPED GREEN was a rare version and a truly wonderful pen. The nib is crafted from 14k 585 gold and is a EF- Extra Fine. The nib is two- tone, which is rare for the period and was usually reserved only for the highest tier of their pens. The nib has a very good amount of flex and a very decent line variation. The pen is in mint condition, as you can see on the pictures. There are no cracks anywhere on the pen. The nib writes well and the pen has received a full service, which included full disassembly, thorough cleaning and lubrication of moving parts with silicone. I have provided a writing sample using Pelikan 4001 blue tint, in order to further describe the writing characteristics of the nib. The pen is guaranteed authentic.
