Aikin Lambert was one of the most venerable and longest lasting fountain pen companies in New York City. This particular pen, the Capitol Drop Fill, is an eyedrop filler, and it seems to work just fine, although as with all vintage fountain pens more than 100 years old, I can offer no guarantees. The patent for this pen’s design was granted, according to the clip, on September 25, 1909, so this pen dates back to the 1910s (World War I era). Like most pens of that time, it has a lot of flex.
