Since 1919, the small workshop of Ancora in northern Italy has been producing exclusive fountain pens with a distinctive dagger-like nib. The blue celluloid used on this pen has deep chatoyancy. The cap band, clip and other trim are all in baroque vermeil (gold plated over sterling silver). But, the piece de resistance on this fountain pen is the barrel.
