Here I have a Vintage Watermans 16 with a LARGE #6 14k Fine Semi-Flex nib. This nib is wonderful and looks beautiful, so if I was a collector I would definitely want this to be in my collection. The chasing on the black hard rubber is amazing, some the best I’ve ever seen. It does say 16 on the bottom of the pen the writing is crisp and clear. The writing on the body and clip are also crisp and clear. I’m no Vintage pen expert, so I do not know how old this pen would be, but it seems to be 1900’s or 1910’s because it says 1899 and 1903 on the pen. The 14k nib is a fine , it is not scratchy, and quite smooth in my opinion. The nib also flexes with ease. Normally the nibs of vintage Waterman’s pens are the highlight, but while this pen has a fantastic Large #6 nib, the large eyedropper body with crisp chasing steals the show here.
