LIMITED EDITION The 1995 Parker Duofold Mandarin Yellow Limited Edition is inspired from a golden era of fountain pens. Embodying the spirit of its predecessor, it is both a collector’s item and a high quality fountain pen. The original Mandarin Yellow was first created in 1927 by George Parker who drew his inspiration from a cloisonné vase that he found in an oriental store and subsequently displayed in his home. With the 1995 Limited Edition of the PARKER Mandarin Yellow – only 10.000 pens will be manufactured – we have been meticulous in choosing a color which is representative of that of the original Mandarin Yellow. The size of the new pen is inspired by the DUOFOLD Senior and unites the best of modern technology with the tradition of craftsmanship which made the DUOFOLD is a design landmark of the 1920s. The barrel is engraved with with George S. Parker’s name, the company’s name and the famous Lucky Curve ribbon as it originally appeared inside the ribbon is engraved the individual serial number (4587/10000). This product can be identified from the engraving on the barrel as a model manufactured at the Hiratsuka factory in December 1977. Offered is an authentic, brand-new bottle of Pilot Iroshizuku Ina-Ho, one of the most sought-after and now discontinued colors in the Iroshizuku line. Ink is unused and original.
