Rare/Unusual Vintage Esterbrook LJ Fountain Pen. Rare “Thin Striped Red” model. Esterbrook 2668 Nib, for Medium Firm Writing. This listing is for an Esterbrook LJ model fountain pen in the desirable “Thin Striped Red” pattern. Note: The subtle vertical thin striped pattern on this pen is not common and different than the pinstripe or icicle models(see pictures). The lever is also different and the imprint is in a somewhat different location than most models(see pictures). It is referred to as the LJ pen because it was the longer slender size model. It has an Esterbrook No. 2668 stainless steel nib for Medium Firm writing, perfect for creating precise lines with your favorite inks. Note: What’s nice about Esterbrook pens is that the nib/feed units are interchangeable. They can be easily screwed and unscrewed to clean or use with whatever style of Esterbrook nib you have. There is an Esterbrook nib chart that outlines the numerous Esterbrook nib styles that have been made. The overall condition is “Excellent” with no cracks(see pictures). The barrel is clean with no flaws. Note: The lever has some brassing to the top(it is a different lever type than other esterbrook models, see pictures). The imprint is also in a somewhat different location as well(see pictures). There are some mild use wear marks on the side of the cap(see the last picture). Lever in good working condition. Color is clean and vibrant. Newly replaced rubber bladder in good working condition. Rare and unusual Esterbrook model for collectors.

Esterbrook Relief 2-L Fountain Pen made by Conway Stewart. Color: Mottled rose and black. Cap: gold clip inscribed “Relief”. Barrel: Inscription “Relief / 2-L”. Condition: Very Clean condition, maybe inked a few times? No cracks or condition issues, has new sac and restored. Black is by far the rarest color of this style visumaster and while i own another copy of this pen, it took 8 years to acquire previously, and somehow i ended up with 2 in the end. Condition: Restored with new sac, has a crack in the lip that would need a repair, barely goes below thread line so easy to repair.
