Fitted with a 14K flexible Oblique Broad nib. (writes from B to BBB+). This is the first version of the 344 with a blue ink window, an engraved star. No engraving in the cap ring. A flat ski-slope feed and the model number and nib gauge imprinted on the piston knob. This version was p. Roduced from 1946 to 1955. The 344 was introduced in 1946 and untill 1955 was fitted with a flat’ski slope’ feed. Later versions also had an inlaid star, 344 engraved in the cap ring and lacked the imprint on the piston knob. The filling knob is marked’3-44′ and’OB. The cap is imprinted with’MONTBLANC’. The pen is 100% functional. The piston operates smoothly and draws the full amount of ink.
