Rare John Holland full gold snail overlay eyedropper pen with an original #12 flex fine nib. There are no other visible makers marks. The body and cap are black hard rubber. The pen is equipped with a 14kt John Holland #12 flex nib with good tine alignment and tipping material. See photo of the dip test writing sample. The feed is attached by threads, I recommend the use of some silicone sealant, thread tape or a very light touch of shellac. The pen measures 5.3 inches capped (135mm) measured by calipers. A very collectible and early model! The high grade gold fill is bright and clean. The pen has no chips, cracks or monograms! Surface area is clean, glossy, some posting wear from the cap, slight discolouration to the feed section and some tarnish to overlay. Overall a very beautiful example of an early John Holland. If you need more photos or information, please reach out as all sales are considered final. I clean, polish and test all of my pens prior to listing. Happy shopping, thank you for visiting – I hope to see you again.
