Panthere de Cartier Fountain Pen F. This is rare vintage Panther de Cartier Fountain Pen. Cartier makes beautiful things, including this pen. This is an edition that was produced in 1990 just for 1 year. It has a solid 18K gold nib. Imprinted on the nib is the #750 and 18K. The nib size is F. Also has gold-plated cap, bottom, and the area near the nib. Also has the logo. Cartier ring in about the middle of the pen. The bottom is fluted. There are black spots on the cap and the front of the pen, sort of like panther’s spots, that’s where the name came from. Semi-precious black stone cabochon (polished stone) on the cap. There was a smaller one on the bottom of the pen, but it is missing. It can most likely be replaced by Cartier technicians. When you look at the pen you do not realize that something is missing. The words Cougar de Cartier are imprinted on the clip along with a number that looks like 027408. Other side of the clip there are words “Made in France” and the year 1990. It can use ink cartridge or converter, which is included. I used a converter. Any ink will do, I used Montblanc black ink. The original converter stopped turning, so I got a new one from a Cartier store. At the time the only color they had was silver. The real genuine Cartier converter and it is not visible when you use the pen. I still have the original converter and can include it with the pen. It has been used, so there are minor, not very noticeable superficial scratches that naturally happen when you use an item. But overall looks very good please look at the pictures. I do have the original box. There is a small. Ink stain inside the box, I have shown it in the photograph. Comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home.
