This pens original Nib is a VERY special Flexible Nib. Ultra Creative writer full of personality. A true JOY to write with. These 52V are the EXACT same width as the standard model 52 and they take the exact same size Nibs and Feeds. The 52V is the COMPACT version of the 52. (Short version, NOT Slim version). This handsome little chap might be compact in size put boy does it pack a serious punch when it comes to the business of writing. Designed to fit ANY size pocket, purse or bag. They also fit inside the side Loupe of Personal Organizer, Note Pad and Diary etc etc. Perfect travel pen for postcards etc. Just beautiful to hold. The SuperStar Grade Flex Nib is a TRUE Masterpiece. Perfect condition with zero damage or repairs etc. Perfect Iridium Tips are good to last several more lifetimes. Writes with a VERY user friendly Medium to Fine line that has Fine line side stroke at normal pressure. Perfect for everyday use. However, this nib also has FANTASTIC Flexibility that allows it to write from F to BBB (Triple Broad) on the down stroke when varying levels of pressure is applied. The flex itself is a Joy to feel. Soft yet still controlled. A nib so creative its ONLY limitation is the imagination and writing ability of its user. Also the unique Olive Feed offers sensational Ink Flow. Never skipped a beat during its writing test and I really pushed it. The pen itself is made of mixed Olive/Honey/Blonde and Black Hard Rubber to form a Woodgrain effect known as Olive Ripple. Every Ripple pens Pattern, Contrast and Variation of Lines etc is UNIQUE to each individual pen. No 2 are the exact same. As such some Ripple pens are much better looking than others. This pen has the best Ripple pattern variation you will see. Has to be seen in person to fully appreciate its beauty. Pen has, Zero Cracks Splits or Repairs etc ANYWHERE. IDEAL, Ripple etc Barrel and Tail End IMPRINTS are deep and easy to read as when new. Wonderful to find such clear imprints. The Tail end bottom has 52V stamp. The Clip and Ideal Lever are Yellow Gold plated and also superb with no plate loss or brassing etc. Very rare to find such clean Gold Trim on these 1920’s originals. Overall once in the hand to the naked eye this 91 year old looks positively New Born. Must have belonged to Benjamin Button.
