PINEIDER AVATAR SAFFRON YELLOW FOUNTAIN PEN. Pineider Avatar “Saffron Yellow” – Original First-Generation 2018 Launch – Fine Steel Nib – Silver Trim – Box & Converter – Discontinued Colorway. From the original 2018 launch of Pineider’s Avatar collection: the Saffron Yellow, in the first-generation “stone effect” resin that started it all – and a colorway that was discontinued when the line was redesigned in 2019. If you want the Avatar as it first appeared, in its most flamboyant color, this is it. The resin is the show: don’t let “yellow” fool you – this is a swirling, semi-translucent flame of orange and gold, with the depth and chatoyance of vintage celluloid. Light doesn’t just reflect off this pen; it passes. It, revealing dimension and movement beneath the surface. Reviewers at the time called the material the best part of the pen, and singled out its intoxicating glow. Every barrel’s swirl pattern is unique. Florentine details everywhere you look. Wide cap band finely engraved with the skyline of Florence, Pineider’s home since 1774. Pineider’s signature quill-feather clip in solid steel, spring-compensated for easy pocketing. Magnetic soft-touch cap closure – uncaps with a smooth pull, snaps shut securely. Sculpted polished metal section. Rhodium-plated steel Fine nib – a smooth, reliable writer with a crisp fine line. Fills via the included converter or standard international cartridges. Pineider Avatar Saffron Yellow fountain pen, Fine nib, silver trim. Original Pineider gift box. Great condition – the flame-orange resin, silver trim, Florence band, and nib all present beautifully, and the magnetic cap snaps home just as it should. See photos of the exact pen. Pineider has been crafting fine writing goods in Florence since 1774, and the 2018 Avatar was the pen that introduced many collectors to the brand’s modern revival.

Vintage Conway Stewart 57 Pen & Pencil Set Boxed – Rare Open 14ct Gold Variant. This specific set is an outstanding find for vintage writing instrument collectors, featuring a highly desirable factory open-nib configuration instead of the standard hooded profile, clean imprints, and superb structural condition. Crisp, clear, and perfectly legible reading “Conway 57″ and “MADE IN ENGLAND”. Genuine 14ct solid gold open nib. Tines look beautifully parallel and straight, sitting perfectly flush against the ebonite feed with no signs of drop damage or structural alignment issues. Polished black resin body accented by a distinct gold-plated cap jewel and the iconic Grecian key / squared chain-link cap band. Unlike many injection-molded plastics from the 1960s, this barrel is completely pristine with absolutely no barrel curve, shrinkage, or warping. It retains a wonderful, straight high-gloss profile. ? Companion Mechanical Pencil Details. Perfectly matches the fountain pen profile with identical black resin, gold trim, and a sleek, tapered body. ? Original Presentation Box. Includes the original red-and-white patterned textured case with satin lining and the distinctive “Conway Stewart” script logo inside the lid. Remarkably, the box still retains its original factory circular black “14” retail sticker on the base, a rare survival detail that adds fantastic historical value for serious collectors. The box shows vintage shelf wear consistent with age but presents beautifully. There is a small mark on the silk lining of the box but it can hardly be noticed when pens are in place. Please review the high-resolution photos closely to assess the cosmetic condition. Will be securely padded in heavy-duty bubble wrap and boxed to protect the delicate vintage resins and presentation case completely during transit.
