PINEIDER AVATAR SAFFRON YELLOW FOUNTAIN PEN. Pineider Avatar “Saffron Yellow” – Original First-Generation 2018 Launch – Fine Steel Nib – Silver Trim – Box & Converter – Discontinued Colorway. From the original 2018 launch of Pineider’s Avatar collection: the Saffron Yellow, in the first-generation “stone effect” resin that started it all – and a colorway that was discontinued when the line was redesigned in 2019. If you want the Avatar as it first appeared, in its most flamboyant color, this is it. The resin is the show: don’t let “yellow” fool you – this is a swirling, semi-translucent flame of orange and gold, with the depth and chatoyance of vintage celluloid. Light doesn’t just reflect off this pen; it passes. It, revealing dimension and movement beneath the surface. Reviewers at the time called the material the best part of the pen, and singled out its intoxicating glow. Every barrel’s swirl pattern is unique. Florentine details everywhere you look. Wide cap band finely engraved with the skyline of Florence, Pineider’s home since 1774. Pineider’s signature quill-feather clip in solid steel, spring-compensated for easy pocketing. Magnetic soft-touch cap closure – uncaps with a smooth pull, snaps shut securely. Sculpted polished metal section. Rhodium-plated steel Fine nib – a smooth, reliable writer with a crisp fine line. Fills via the included converter or standard international cartridges. Pineider Avatar Saffron Yellow fountain pen, Fine nib, silver trim. Original Pineider gift box. Great condition – the flame-orange resin, silver trim, Florence band, and nib all present beautifully, and the magnetic cap snaps home just as it should. See photos of the exact pen. Pineider has been crafting fine writing goods in Florence since 1774, and the 2018 Avatar was the pen that introduced many collectors to the brand’s modern revival.

Pineider Back To The Future Rollerball Pen. Ultra Rare Limited Edition Finish – Number 10 of only 18 pieces produced worldwide. Pineider’s Back to the Future Limited Edition pen collection takes you on a journey to the past to create a pen for the future. It draws inspiration from an ancient writing instrument along with the history of Pineider that began in 1774 and was reborn after WWII in 1949. Its inspiration is the quill, a writing tool from time immemorial made out of bamboo cane, that has allowed mankind to record knowledge and history generation after generation. Pineider also draws inspiration from the glamour of Italy in 1949, when it became a favorite travel destination for the elite in Hollywood. The Back to the Future pens are presented with a gorgeous book published by Pineider, that tells the story of 1949 Italy with images of its jet set clientele including movie stars, politicians, artists and more. The limited edition series is a new ground-breaking design by Pineider’s amazing penmaker, Dante del Vecchio. This limited edition rollerball pen is made from Carboiridium and features marine grade stainless steel trim. The clip has a miniaturized mechanism concealed inside. The collection is limited to 18 pieces Worldwide with this trim; each pen comes in a striking Pineider gift box along with the book.

Pineider Limited Edition La Grande Bellezza Fountain Pen. Only 37 Were Made In This Color. Each Pen Is Individually Number ##/37. Charcoal Grey & Gold. The pen is fitted with a 14K Gold, Quill Flex Nib in Fine Point. The Pineider La Grande Bellezza Gemstrones or The Great Beauty, is inspired from gemstones and their unique colors, realistically recreating semiprecious stones that in the past have been imitated using celluloid material. The celluloid has been substituted with a resin based material, with an high percentage of marble dust. The marble dust was added for three reasons: By adding this material, they have made a harder compound to increase the shining of each color with a high gloss polish. The addition increases the specific weight of the material, making it more consistent. Spreading the color range, recreating a marble design from the primers of the resin.

A (figurative) steal at a pen show this year, this pen is identical to one I use on a daily basis, but is in brand new condition. There may be a few hairline scratches on this notoriously-durable UR resin from Pineider (please inspect the photos carefully), but I struggled to find any. In using my identical pen, I found the nib needed just a little’wearing in’ on a couple of rough pages. After that, it writes like a dream with a medium ink flow. A Pineider converter is included they even released a “blacked out” version for their matte black accented models, which I thought was funny. However, like most of its siblings, this pen can also take a standard cartridge. Note the extra’easter egg’ that is the Florence, Italy skyline along the waist of the pen. It’s the city where Pineider is based and manufactures the Avatar. The Avatar UR fountain pen is a magnificent tribute to the world of Avatar. The cap ring is a tribute to the Florence skyline, and the clip evokes a goose feather. Made in resistant ultra-resin with a stainless-steel palladium-plated nib, it has a magnetic Lock System and comes in an elegant luxury box. Works with both cartridge and converter filling systems. Avatar can become an inseparable lifetime companion, a true alter ego. Our ink has been formulated specifically to avoid drying out. If there is a defect in this or any of my other listings of which I’m aware, I’ll make clear note of it. If stock imagery is used, you may expect a product in brand new condition. I do (nor can I) provide any warranties about a product’s function, durability, etc. I can, however, guarantee my best effort to treat you fairly and deliver nothing less than or different from what I list. Something about my listing seem unfair or strange? I’ll do the same if I’m unsure of what you need from me. First and foremost, please be transparent upfront with your questions, concerns, needs. I bet I can find a way. Want to know all about the box it came in or doesn’t? I’d love to tell you. I work hard to be fair and transparent, so please do the same. It’s never pleasant when a sale doesn’t work out as expected. Good luck and happy browsing!
