This pen has never been used and, though produced some time ago, has remained in storage in brand-new condition. Please note that long-term storage can result in natural signs of aging such as patina or faint surface micro-scratches, but the item is essentially unused. It will arrive exactly as shown in the photos and may require light cleaning upon receipt. Original box and paperwork are not included. Limited to only 500 pieces of each color. Indigo, burgundy, olive, and antique orange. Laban introduced the Ebonite Collection in 2001 to honor the Year of the Serpent in the Chinese Calendar. This pen showcases a clip with a crooked snake design with opal eyes. The barrel and cap are made of high-quality natural hard rubber, also known as ebonite, known for its warm feel. Ebonite has been a preferred material for quality writing instruments since the early 1900s. The material features what is usually referred to as a “woodgrain” pattern, with streaks of color and black running the length of the cap and barrel. Each pen has a contrast solid black section housing the rollerball mechanism. Features two sterling silver interchangeable clips. Snake design with opal eyes.
