This fountain pen is specially custom made and fitted with a premium grade Titanium full flex nib. The pen is from a limited batch, which is a rare to find combo of the pen + nib. Model : Pr-EBO tube (green+brown). Colour: Main is colour reddish brown, with black and green swirl patterns. Capped Length : 144 mm. Length Without cap: 136 mm. Posted Length : 185 mm. Weight: 27 gms (with cap and converter loaded, but no ink). Body material: Premium Ebonite (mirror shine). Cap Type: Screw cap. Nib Size & Material: Premium grade titanium, customized ultra flex M point nib. Condition of the pen. Brand new, unused condition with very zero tear of wear of usage. No damage at all to pens, no dents on barrel. No patches or fixes done by us. Ink not leaking through nib and feed, we have tested the pen with light taps on tail end while the nib is face down, ink does not spill. No teeth or chew marks on barrel. No holding mark around barrel. Barrel to nib section fitting :- perfectly threaded, snug fit, no loose parts. Scratches :- No deep, or projected scratches, its brand new. There are zero hairline scratches result of limited usage, consider this pen is manufactured in 2023 August batch. Bents :- No visible bent to barrel or cap. Dents :- no dents on barrel or cap. McLaren Titanium Air Cooled Rollerball MRB850 Collectable & Rare Pen NEW
The McLaren MRP-850 is a titanium body rollerball pen from the limited edition McLaren family of pens. Brand New – Never Used. McLaren International commissioned TML Precision Engineering in the UK (producers of bespoke parts for the aeronautical and motorsport industries) for a small run of high-end fountain pens and rollerball pens in the mid-1990s focusing on the use of F1 racing-grade materials, primarily carbon fiber and titanium. The MFP-850 has no carbon fiber, but rather uses a full-titanium body and cap. These were machined from a solid billet of titanium. The pen has grooves machines into it that are reminiscent of the air cooled cylinder heads of engines in the past but practically aid with grip. Unlike other pens in the McLaren family the grooves are not used with rubber o-rings, and are instead left bare, giving the 850 a sparse, clean look. This is a very rare pen to find. Brand new -unused in original aluminium presentation case. The pen is supplied complete in presentation tube with matching design and instructions. The McLaren promotional booklet that Ive taken some images of is not part part of the pen and therefore not included in the sale.
