Here we have a clean example of a blue Parker 51 SPECIAL fountain pen in good working order with a medium nib. The earlier models had the black jewel and this one has a black jewel. All P 51 Special models have a hoop filler which this one does. The nib I believe is Octanium in the models but the nib is working very well and I have not removed it to examine it.
