The Lyric has a. Beautiful finish that is hard to describe. Gorgeous deep green Chinese lacquer applied over brass with veins of gold running throughout the green lacquer. The Lyric was made in limited quantities in c1995. The fountain pen takes standard international style cartridges and is fitted with a gold plated nib in a Medium point. The ballpoint takes Parker style refills. The original Elysee refill still writes, but I can’t tell how long it will last. The pens are in very good condition. The nib of the fountain pen shows some loss of the plating. The cap of the ballpoint shows a hairline crack (see photo #7). Otherwise under magnification both pens just show just minimal signs hand and desk wear. The photo’s are an integral part of the description. In 2000 the factory Elysee stoped to produce pens, so there won´t come new models anymore. Interesting is that this factory was distributed in the 1980ties by Montblanc and later by the company Staedtler. The pen comes from a shop cleareance and is in a mint condition.
