LOUIS VUITTON Fountain pen Cargo Alligator Ltd Edition. Fountain pen Alligator leather. Piston filler (included) or standard cartridges. Genuine allgator leather (Alligator Mississipiensis). 148 X 19 mm. Yellow gold 18 Ct. Made in France (written on the back of the clip). (inside of the cap, this is the serial number). The pen is in pristine condition, as the pictures will show. It has been used to sign a contract and stored afterwards. It is therefore in new condition. The sticker (“L”, almost faded away) mentioning the nib size still on the pen feed section. Very nice and impressive. L or large nib (broad in french). This is a very imposing and heavy pen (19 mm diameter and 90 gr). The manufacturing year is 1997 and this is the first line of fountain pen manufactured by Vuitton. The leather craftsmanship is remarkable. The pen is relatively unknown in the fountain pen world and was only available at certain LV flagship stores (Paris, New York, Tokyo).
